Apple iPad Air

Apple iPad Air was announced in October, 2013 and released in November, 2013. Apple's iPad is always a step ahead in technical aspects and iPad air is no exception.  Let us see the details of this Apple product.

iPad Air supports 2G, 3G and 4G. It has Nano-SIM slot for SIM card. The display is about 9.7 inches and it is LED-backlit IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with Multi Touch facility (scratch resistant with oleophobic coating) and it displays up to 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones and Loud Speaker. It doesn't support FM Radio.

As usual in all Apple products we have to choose from the the internal memory. It supports 16/32/64/128 GB storage supported by 1 GB RAM and no external card slot. The connectivity includes GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi facilities, Bluetooth and micro USB.

It comes with 5 Mega pixel camera, with autofocus and Geo-Tagging facility. The Video recording is available in 1080p@30fps and there is a 1.2 MP secondary camera facility is available and it records in 720p@30fps. This camera is used for face detection, face time over Wi-Fi.

iPad Air comes with iOS 7 (upgradable to next version) and supports iMessage, E-mail, push Email, IM, Safari browser and GPS. No Java support. It is available in Silver and Space Gray colors.

The other features includes Siri natural language commands and dictation, Twitter & Facebook integration,Audio/video player, Photo viewer, Organizer, voice memo and predictive text input facilities are available.
