Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 model has been announced in April 2013 and it was released by May, 2013. Let us see the details of this Android smartphone.

It comes with the support of 2G and 3G only. It has Micro-SIM slot for SIM card. It is a Dual-SIM handset (Galaxy Mega I9152). The display is of TFT Capacitive touch screen with Multi Touch facility and it displays up to 16M colors.

It has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones, Loud Speaker but there is no FM Radio support. The Call alerts are by Vibration and MP3 /WAV ringtones.

The internal memory supports 8 GB storage supported by 1.5 GB RAM and external MicroSD card slot supports up to 64 GB. The connectivity includes GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi facilities, Bluetooth and micro USB.

It comes with 8 Mega pixel camera, with autofocus, LED flash and Geo-Tagging facility. The Video recording is available in 1080p@30fps and there is a 1.9 MP secondary camera facility available.

It uses Android OS (Jelly Bean version)  and supports SMS, MMS, RSS, E-mail, push Email, IM, HTML browser, GPS and JAVA. It is available in Black, Purple and White colors. The price range of this handset is about 280 EUR.

The other features includes SNS integration, MP3 and MP4 player, Organizer, Photo viewer, Google applications, voice memo/dial and predictive text input facilities are available.
